We offer FREE/NO-COST local delivery for orders of $180 or more. 

Shipping

All orders (Canada & US) are shipped with Canada Post. For international Canada Post shipments, once your parcel clears customs, it will be handed over to your local shipping carrier for final delivery. Note that more detailed tracking information can often be found by tracing your parcel on the website of your local shipping carrier.

Snack Island Toronto is not responsible for the product after it has been handed over to the carrier (Canada Post). The customer is responsible for ensuring timely receipt of the product and mitigating any weather, theft, physical or other damages at the destination. The customer should ensure that someone is available to receive the package at the time of delivery. Please note that the integrity of certain products (e.g. chocolate) are affected by heat and may be altered during transit during warm months. In regards to heat sensitive products, we cannot guarantee its delivery in perfect condition. 

We are not responsible for damages, losses or delays caused by Canada Post or customer negligence.

International Duties and Customs Fees 

Note that international orders are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) and you may be charged additional duties and customs fees upon receipt. We have no control over if or how much you will be charged for these fees, and we do not accept responsibility for any additional charges the destination country may impose on you. 

Order processing

All orders placed  Monday through Friday will be processed between 1-3 business days. 

Shipping in Summer Months

In these cases of hot weather, we strongly encourage the use of expedited shipping. Despite our efforts, we are not responsible for any heat damage that that might occur for longer air or ground shipments, and/or if the recipient is not present at the time of the delivery resulting in extended exposure to the sun and/or heat.

Dissatisfied with your order?

If for any reason your order does not meet with your satisfaction, contact us by email and include pictures for a prompt, courteous response. However, we cannot replace a shipment when the damage is caused by Canada Post or if the shipment was damaged after arrival, or if Canada Post did not deliver on time/perform as contracted.

Holiday Shipping

Holidays are known to cause delays with many shipping carriers as the amount of online orders ramp up. Please keep this in mind during holiday season and order in advance for timely delivery. We ship with Canada Post and while cannot guarantee their on-time performance, we will do our absolute best to process your order as fast as possible. We apologize for any inconveniences that may take place during delivery (delays, missing delivery). 

Transit/Delivery Delays 

Online orders may experience delays of 3-5 business during transit due to logistic issues caused by labor shortages and COVID-19. This has become a large issue in the trucking/transportation industry.

When processing orders, we will do our absolute best to process them as fast and accurate as possible.
